Makenzie Graduation class 2012
When Makenzie was four years old, her parents wanted to find a sport that capitalized on her strength and flexibility. They enrolled her in a YMCA gymnastics class during the summer. After a few days, the coach suggested she find a “real” gym for training as she was way ahead of the others her age. San Diego All-Stars Gymnastics became her home away from home for the next six years until she moved to Parker, Texas in August 2004. Since then, Makenzie has been training under coaches Helen Verucchi and Anatoli Toropov at Elite Champion Gymnastics.
